What MC said ”everyone can have a decent life if they work hard” , yeah yeah. All the rich in the city , with the spare money they find under their beds, they could’ve build simple decent housing for people. But why bother for the cannon fodder , and their descendants , if you can feed them lies about the ”happy future’ that will come some day , after centuries and centuries of suffering, while their dogs have private pools and elite meat to eat
