So, the player stays level 1, but instead his something called ego levels up for him? Well that does not sound something like what I would expect… Will MC be getting extra rewards for being level 1 and that is his cheat skill

I don’t know how I feel about an mc getting some item that makes him strong. I like when people themselves gain strength. It feels cheap when they borrow power from others.
It’s also why I don’t like the mecha genre. Or the weak protagonist, strong underlings genre. Or the weak protagonist, misunderstood as strong genre.
Also, what’s the purpose of having an mc who can’t level up, if you’re just going to equip him with something that does the leveling for him?
You could’ve just made him level up if you were going to do that.
what in the GOAT is happening? he just killed a feeble animal and fainted? what in the TEMU solo levelling is this.

Everyone keep in mind that this guy became overpowered by killing a goat.
Others said, in last chapter, I bet he feels really stupid now.
On every metric, every bit of common knowledge, it was only logical not to go in below a certain level. Nobody knew the difficulty would adjust to the players level and ability.
Technically the goat even is an insult. (That is all your abilities amount to)
Anyway. With him being weak and not doing the test at the end of the tutorial (floor 5), he really wasted 5 years. Only after that test he was on the same starting line as everyone else.
(And, I bet, for that, he slapped his head so hard, it extended his hospitalisation.)
Well, mostly, anyway.
At least he done the 100 goblin test with ease (and likely under 10 min), now, while still (not only technically) qualifying.
He always will technically qualify as his accessory sponges up all xp, and level in MC’s stead.
But even Lou is below level 9. Hence MC really qualifies for that test.
