long story short it was to set the tone of the story

I understand everyone’s complaints but I understand the point quite well. Yes her death was quick and stupid, but it was to show the reality of the world, she was a kid who acted on impulse because she believed that what she was doing was right, because she had never experienced the outside world. she suffered the consequences of her action, there was no plot twist that she was some secret solider she was simply a kid who suffered from bad luck and a poor situation.

What was the purpose in killing the girl so quickly when us readers didn’t even get attached enough to feel sad for her death? 😭 I’m guessing she was just introduced to give the mail to our MC so he can deliver it through the subway but, I feel like there had to be a better way to do that, no?

The MC also seems to have some sort of powers that look cool.
