From a strictly strategic point of view I think the obvious answer here is for her to take the offer, and prior to getting shipped off to Euclid’s territory, get married to Dietrich. That way you could avoid licentious allegations, whilst getting river access, and effectively losing nothing more than some time wasted at parties. Underhanded? Yes. Effective? Indubitably.
