Let’s say Murim has 10 ranks and back home has F to S (7 ranks) with+/+ variables.
Is a B+ rank back home only comparable to an “Expert” (3/10) or is an Expert higher than 3/10? They keep jumping around and the inconsistent reactions make it seem like dude is mirking 7/10 level “experts”.
This story should have laid down some world building first. Because the names of Murim levels are probably THE MOST INCONSISTENT thing across the genre.
