Rather than asking for the time to be shortened ask what can be fixed in a shorter time. It’s such an obvious question and makes more sense than setting horribly unreasonable deadlines.

… Welp, it’s a bit too long, but their resources are limited and their base of operation is in shambles 
I get why authors always put secret groups in cloaks to hide their faces. They don’t have to reveal all the characters right away so they can write the others later. Still it looks super cheesy for everyone in every secret organization in every story to be in hooded cloaks hiding their faces. They rarely even have different cloak styles like some kind of culty uniform.
Those are power armor leggings…
