Maybe it’s mental issue, like royalty sometimes married into their own blood, causes the mental issue to be in the blood of the royalty?

Someone mentioned he could be a reincarnator as well. I wonder if he has like two egos battling it out inside him and that’s what causes the confused tantrums and outbursts from time to time. The reincarnator side and the natural born memories side sort of duking it out like some form of split personality struggle. Seems pretty farfetched but it’d be a pretty interesting take.
