I think people forgot that MC serve his brother in past live, he put his life goal to serve him and only focus on his duty, he was surprised that his brother betrayed him or used him like a tool at the end of his previous life… So yeah, he probably doesn’t know a lot of his brother scheme unless MC himself is ordered to cause it, but he knows a lot of event that happened because he’s working with the Mist organization. Also he can’t just kill his brother even if he’s stronger, his brother and the first prince need to fall from political point as well, else the kingdom itself won’t survive, there will be civil war and stuff if he just directly kill the last boss. A coup d’etat is not just as simple as killing the king, you need support from majority of the aristocrats as well.

How dumb is this MC. He is that surprised his Brother arranged this? Even so, now that he knows, im assuming last timeline the brother saved the day to become a hero. So the best way to ruin his plans is to become the hero himself. I wonder how long it will take him to figure it out
These assassins are really stupid. Why would you choose to assassinate the princess in the one location where’s she’s surrounded by some of the most powerful people in the kingdom. It would be much smarter to do when she’s traveling or when she’s asleep at the academy.
