may be an unpopular opinion, but I think they need to give up this mentality age thing I get it, but he needs to understand that he is regressed and the world around him is different. not to just give up on being happy romantically he can still be respectful and have a gf or love interest. if I had to take a reason the one he gave his maid and guard was more reasonable. his path could have his brother or the state killing those around him to get to him.
