It would make more sense for the timid one to have told on them or have an actual reason she didn’t. This plot makes sense for a manga but, without some reason, her not telling doesn’t fit her character.

this reminds me of rimuru… and how the lizardmen went after the orcs and almost got wiped out… because they believed too much in gabiru.. but he was uninformed about their circumstances
