Ah! There she is! The female knight! In an other setting (older tropes) she would be the future bride (more or less against her will) of the orks.
The retconning of this stories own history is annoying. I mean fiction makes up its own rules, but those rules should stay consistent within the story. The features of the protagonists father is VERY different from chapter one.
