i like that he isn’t so overpowered that if he refuses to use his strength he isn’t in danger. sure, it worked out that he’d prepared poison resistance talismans, but pointing out that he’d actually have died without them, when he could have destroyed the hydra with one of his summons, makes it feel better some how
