Ah, the smile is so telling.
Sigh… thought it’d go like this,
now it’s either MC is going to have his world implode
or we get a double “plot twist” he really is a good guy (or at least falling into the gray area: ends justify the means type character.)
The panel looked interesting, but if you can absorb metal in a controlled manner from whatever you’re touching and you grab the muzzle of a gun, the easiest way to render the gun useless is by absorbing the metal from the firing pin. As soon as that’s gone, the trigger can’t actually ignite the gunpowder in the bullet casings, rendering the gun into an overly-complex unwieldy melee weapon.
At that point, it would then be worthwhile to create swords from the gun grip that impale the wielder’s hands and prevents them from dropping the tainted gun…
