there are so many things that frustrate me about this series
- he always pulls out the scabbard like it’s supposed to impress and always makes the other person look down on them (understandable if you are weaker to catch them off guard, but dudes a D rank) he could just go straight to one of the armaments or beat him unarmed.
- Even though him and his sister got bullied so bad and not a single person helped them including the bastard father he still seems to occasionally have pride being a Katastofe.
- why bother even going to school, if all you care about is your sister then skip town and make a good living as an adventurer or knight in some other area of the world, let the Katastrofe family die.
- cont. of 3 if all that’s needed to grow stronger is to hunt monsters and absorb their mana then why sit in a school and just go grind the fk out of hunting monsters.
- this is more of a generalization of this type of genre and story but it seems the way to raise a hero is to not care at all about your kids and encourage some of them to beat the weaker ones or completely abandon them to the cruel world at a very young age.
- also the power leveling which is prevalent in most of these genre, s+ class was supposed to be peak power at the start but red head antagonist is already top of B, maybe even low A and is only what 15-16, there will definitely be some SS or SSS+ later in the story that his masters conveniently didn’t tell him about because he wasn’t ready.
I’ll end my rant there but i don’t think ima continue reading this one, started decent but I seem to get a little more frustrated with every chapter.

Gonna be a typical teacher interrupting them before they can begin in the next chapter.

Why did he even need the scabbard? He’s only d rank. The president is b rank as well and beat a c rank unarmed. Since you’re hiding your identity, but need to make a name for yourself, show off completely. Beat him instantly, without a weapon

I like how he keeps pulling out the scabbard as if its a nuclear hand-grenade. Not only does it keep them guessing but that is how he is going to build up the respect and fear until pulling out the scabbard makes them pee their pants in fear.
His Father seems to have rubbed off on him well. Respect is earned it is not a ‘posture’. I am sure we will get to the part of the story were he realizes how much his father actually helped him and his sister behind the scenes.
