Party bonus usually gives you depending on the max party capacity a % increase, in this case a max 4 members party should get something like +25% bonus exp per party member, so you get 100% exp but you are in a party.

Well there are systems whwn you get your full exp and a percentage of those the others killed so guess its worth it exp wise
