I can understand the no betrayal of the comrades part but I’m a bit iffy on the no exile of comrades part. For one, what if one of your comrades is literally the worst person, I don’t mean that as skill wise I mean that as personality wise. Someone who’s constantly trying to cause trouble in the group and putting people in danger. They could just decide not to leave and the party members can’t do anything about it because according to the rules, if they kick him out they get a title that gets them shunned by society.
In the MC’s case, he was kicked out for petty reasons, and it feels like that rule was just made by the author to try to link the hero’s plight to kicking him out when all he really needed to do was betray his comrades like he did and he would have gotten shunned anyway.
Only one of those rules really has a reason for existing.

the demon should rejoice if the hero is incompetent, and must preserve hero life so no new hero ( that might be a real deal) appear lol

I don’t get how putting self interest first or chosing not to sacrifice yourself to save someone is cosidered evil. Makes sense that a Hero can lose their powers or authority over the holy elements and stuff from doing evil things but the fact that it’s determined by if he attacks or “exile” (whatever that means in this manga) his allies just makes it complicated and weird.
Doing evil actions or having evil thoughts should determine if you are evil or good, not this stupid crap.
Alot of the time, authors tend to make it hard for you to like, care or even relate to the heroes in their manga making them complete trash because it could make the story more interesting. But they usually don’t have this kind of element which I sometimes find to be pretty annoying depending on what it is that I’m reading. It’s such a simple concept that anyone could think up but you just don’t see it because it could ruin the plot and story of the manga. Idk…
Also, I found it kind of random that the girl just pulled up a pair of glasses that allowed her to se alignments like that. Felt like a total mood breaker.
