It’s funny that they want to portray the humans as evil when demons were created to kill humans. I assume we didn’t get the full context of the letter because that didn’t make any sense, but he’s the one that’s acting like an extremist. They have no way of knowing and no reason to believe that the citizens went in the dungeon of their own free will or are even still alive.
