The anime ss3 mess all thing up, even worse than ss2. Remember the scenes when the “slave” kids defend the village from the bandits (whom Naofumi sold to beasts country as salves later) by themselves? Although it is a bit different between NV and manga, but anime become completely a whole other thing because instead of happen before the fight in Colosseum like NV and manga, in the anime, it happen even after the white tiger siblings rescued, and it worst: those “slave” kids could do nothing against the bandits, be wiped out completely, then “shield hero” and comrades show up with lightning behind, fight hard to get back those kids and turn the table. In my option, this is critical scene because in NV and manga, those “slave” kids turn the table against the bandits all by themselves (with training and weapon from Naofumi), that effort help them overcome the PTSD of being capture as slave in the pass and encourage them become more helpful to Naofumi, to the world, but anime turn all thing down: the bandits (the same as manga) wiped out the kids, smashing all their hopes to become stronger to protect themselves, their village and further, the heros did appear to do the jobs, but left behind those kids suffering from theirs useless.

Spoilers!
I’m waiting for it to catch up to the anime bc I’m curious how they handle the dragon.
Truth be told the character development was alright, the sword hero getting some closure on a past sin was cool, but how predictable was it that the villagers were to blame.
No matter what it seems the safe story is ‘hoomans bad!’

So I knew we hadn’t seen the last of pierrot ( I still get nightmares when I hear that title), but I wasn’t expecting it to be this soon. Also there’s something a little off about her. Mostly from the way she speaks. I get that whole living assassin vibe. Like from Sai when he was 1st introduced. Like she’s been nothing but a killer since day one. Which means for Naofumi to do his job and help Pierrot (shivers) go from living weapon to normal person.
As for people who are wondering my deal with the word pierrot. 4-words (cow, boy, be, bop)

Everyone that’s kinda relevant is either a Hero, a Slave of a Hero or a Loli. Sometimes the three things just at different times
