In general, anime adaptations are less reflective of the quality of the work.
Here, I find it’s the opposite. The trial is well transcribed, however, the anime takes the side of almost putting them to death.
The banquet that follows and Naofumi’s recovered honor are rather rushed, unlike the adaptation.
