Even if it was in a roundabout way, it’s good to see him finally getting some acknowledgement and affection for what he’s been doing. Plus the kiss he gave Raphtalia was just the icing on the cake in the end, was cute to see how flustered she got. Now to see what hatches from the egg, got a sneaking suspicion it’ll be a new party member rather than just a useful beasty given how isekais usually handle said trope, but I suppose I should keep reading rather than yapping about it, love being able to binge like this.
