It sounds like she was from Murim. I have never seen it spelled Moolim before. Either way for those unfamiliar Murim is a common trope in Chinese cultivation stories. It is a world based on ancent china where everyone knows supernatural martial arts and is broken up into clans that constantly battle each other. They “Break Through” by cultivating (Training/Meditating/Using artifacts and special pills) which is like leveling up and they have no real upper limit to their powers.
