Summary
A brief description of the manga The Story Of The Banisher Side After Banishing The Party Member – The Party Was Weakened, But We Aim To Be The Best In The World:
“Exile” and you’re weakened!? A “do-over” fantasy of a failed party! “Stardust”, an up-and-coming party, in order to aim even higher, expels Est, a “burden” of the party members. But as a result, the party is weakened and Est is awakened! In this “Serves You Right!” situation, a swordsman with zero motivation and zero pride rises to the occasion! This is a story about the “Aftermath” of the “Side that Banished Him”.
There’s more chapters on other site, I think it’s ended with chapter 33. The ending was good, they cleared up the misunderstanding.
I would say 7/10, yes they’re retard by lying instead of being upfront, but what do you expect from 15 Y.O teenager?
The progress and growth are the main focus here, emotional trainwreck i guess we could say…
Definitely don’t read here if you expect a plot, worldbuilding or revenge…
This is a good manga why is everyone mad at mc I like how original this story is not like all the other basic betrayal manga
Hope est wins
Man I waste my time to this manga
Terrible. 3/10
Author wants to create an inverse trope version of “x kicked out of hero party but is actually overpowered” but fails badly when trying to ‘kick’ along the plot (ha, get the joke?).
TLDR (no spoilers): Disgustingly bad story of ANTR and genre inverse of an overused trope, paired with hypocritical writing for characters and lack of real progression or basic traits and characteristics will lead to in-fighting because of one character that makes the poorest choices but since they’re an obvious Mary-Sue character they get away with it.
Full Review (spoilers):
The main aspect about this story is personal growth and development while giving no room for that besides the typical oh I’m stronger now to the person kicked out of the party; while the story focuses on Daru who is extremely unlikeable due to not his oh so good natured and tempered personality but the fact that he makes terrible choices, keeps secrets that plot relevant or not are literally mentioned but for A(ltruistic)NTR purposes he decides to keep is secret from the person who SHOULD BE TOLD WHAT HAPPENS.
This Dale/Daru guy sucks for characterization and the author is railroading so much to make sure he seems/comes off as a good guy and will most undoubtedly push more misunderstandings and mental hardships onto the guy (E) that was kicked out of the party. This story is most likely going to culminate into some sloppy terrible harem of all the girls in the party falling for D and having to confront/fight E due to an extreme amount of contrivances/misunderstandings in which they’ll all still choose D.
For a story that’s being focused around other characters besides the one going on an actual arc that’d be worth it to look instead of being a side-note, the main characters are extremely bland and annoying to watch. There’s no real progression, character A sucks at basic communication with the person they’ve known the longest, character D keeps dirty secrets makes bad choices and will get away with all of it because the plot demands it, character F is obviously just another put-in romantic interest that looks up to D because of his manliness and charm or some other bs, and the elf character M that has nothing interesting about them going on besides being and elvish whore and annoying every time.
Ending Statement: This manga should’ve stayed in the bottom of the trash can with the rest of the dregs as a trope copycat. The Author tries to apply their own unique twist but doesn’t have the brainpower to pull it off and ruins the story; also added their own fetish.
Garbage story, MC is basically Daru, the man in the middle. He agrees to hurt the party leaders childhood friend with her because she doesn’t want him to get hurt, they do it in a manner that is betrayal and meant to hurt him, then they are surprised that he’s hurt and wants revenge. I have only left a bad review ONE other time despite reading hundreds of these and this deserves the second bad review. Daru is insufferable and this basically reads like NTR.
Not great, at all. None of the characters are likable and act like children. The MC is actually a crappy person who you want to see get his teeth kicked in for making such obviously bad decisions.
To sum it up, another story about people who make zero effort to have healthy relationships, even more with those they have known for years. A guy who believes is entitled to the woman he lusts for, just because he likes her, and he knows her since childhood. A woman who is unable to communicate sincerely with the only person who has been in her life since the beginning, so she imposes on him her wild belief of how you protect people you care for, which is sending them away, without a proper conversation. Yup, this basically describes it… By the way, how this thing got that many stars?
Man I’m not going to read it , i have enough with this kind of PLOT . 😮💨
The old guy is the absolute worst. I mean the misunderstanding wouldn’t have happened if you just explained but nooo you just had to keep it to yourself. The guy who got banished did nothing wrong

At the time of writing this, there are only 9 chapters. Everyone expected Est to be the main character but it turns out to be Daru because the author loves Daru and nobody else does. Score: 1 Daru’s out of 5 Est’s
