The “you owe us for not upholding your end of the bargain” is a crock of shit.
THEY came to him and offered to help activate/learn/grow his skill.
Imagine if someone came to your house and said, hey if you come build this building with me, I’ll teach you plumbing, carpentry, ironworking, electrical, roofing.
And then on the last day of the project someone drops a brick and breaks your hand. So the contractor goes, tsk you were unable to build this building every day, therefore you owe us $5M

The way his skill works doesn’t seem logical either… if it was called revival they should have obviously tested it iut on different dead animals and maybe humans… and if that didn’t work then the next test would have been the MC himself, although they might not have wanted to test that iut intentionally…
question is though why a skill called revival restored his broken sword.. is it a translation error and the skill is actually called restore?
would have made more sense if all it did was revive the MC after he got killed/destroyed by the girls skill, meaning he was the only one in the world she could touch – proceed with love story …
