OK, so king seemed honest with his apology so hopefully he paid our MC off properly. The promised reward for the subjugation was to marry a princess and I guess become a noble – so the equivalent in gold should be more than a few kg i would imagine..
Say the princess weight in gold would be suitable…
Seemed like MC just went to the countryside, but stayed in the same country…
Why stay in a country that didn’t honor their promises?
