The issue is that the chapters are too short with this style of story telling, if you want to add segments of the swords backstories in I’m all for it (especially Petal) but cliffhangering because we wasted panels on flashbacks just disjoints the story.
I think this is one of the better emerging stories at the moment but I think it’ll drive people away if it doesn’t resolve its problems
