i mean, from my experience and somehow seeing it in new generations and also hearing it in past generations.
we somehow ended up learning how to “gamble” at the age of 7.
the most basic or rather the 1st one we learn is called “Kara”.
we play it with 2 coins of equal size.
flip it together by a flicking motion by using the “thumb”
if both lands on
heads – the 1 who flicked the coins wins
if both are tails – the 1 who flicked the coins lose
but if 1 is tails and 1 is heads – i flick again we can either raise the stakes or just leave it.
ask any other filipino or filipino child, who grew up in philipines and they’ll say it’s called
“Kara”
