I think I’m certain the reason the mc name is chrome is because the god of times in Greek mythologys name is chronos and the mc power is time
I understand that the author is trying to move the story along, but talk about dumb way to do it.
Chrome is suppose to be on guard, knows the magic association is in town looking for him, uses magic when everyone knows he can’t use magic.
Even if it slipped his mind that healing magic wasn’t a thing current era, you still don’t make a display like that knowing auditors and investigators are snooping around..
May as well just put up a neon billboard above his head….
Mc is totally retard…
He’s supposed to be a crippled unable to use magic, but has already defeated his sword master without giving a proper explanation.
He’s using magic that won’t exist for the next 100 years, but keep using it in front of everyone for anything (he literally used it to clean clothes)
And what’s with healing the girl??
if she was dying I could understand it, but it’s just a scratch, why would he expose himself?
MC knows he’s being tracked so outs his magic in public for a scraped knee.
