Well the money goes wildly in the other direction compared to fantasy manga. At least the don’t try and convert it to yen, juan, danango, dohlarhs, kenichifruit, shekels, ducets, won or lost.
It is consistent with medievel money to some extent with ‘silver pennies’ being too valuable for day to day purchases. It’s damned hard to determine modern value. My current savings would easily build 5 castles if converted to silver coins if I could zip back in time. It will not mean I can have a happy retirement unless I can zip back in time.
There is some sort of incongruency between the end of the previous chapter and the beginning of this one…

Must be some kind of translation error, no? Why would silver coins be worth that much? Would make more sense if it was smn like platinum or white gold

I’m really glad they showed the USD amount, but I’ll never understand why they translate the isekai money into yen when they’re translating the manga into English.
