This is such a great way to power up the MC without it being a asspull. It also retroactively explains why MC was so strong and how he could get strong via training so fast. Now I wonder if it was hinted at all previously.

I know loads of peeps are complaining anout him getting saved but in (almost?) Every instance he only really gets advice or training. He does the actual hard work himself. So nicely written.
Even the explanation of his powers works really well. It doesn’t diminish his efforts but does show that he was never alone.
