“But we are on the 12 chapters!” Nope. This was the 13th, because you did not count the 6.5. So yeah… the last few pages also gives the feeling of openness, but also of a closure.
Probably left open in case the author feels like extending this universe… though the last manga he made was in 2022 and nothing since then so… don’t hold your breath for a continuation.

According to what i’ve seen through googling: Series is ended cuz it was axed, apparently so was light novel.
Really sucks cuz it was a fun and interesting read…
