I’m pretty sure and convinced now that this [Auto] skill is just a way some god/goddess of that world to play the world as RPG game with MC as the main character, and when the skill is in cooldown, it’s just a long cutscene.
The Guild Master looks like the cat that caught not just the canary but the whole extended family, meanwhile Terraine looks like that Cat’s spouse ready to feast.
Finally we get an explanation for the obsession with the MC. Feels so much better, but damn was it tough to get here.
