I have a feeling MC is going to break the limit before this Asshat of a douche even gets a chance to. If dragon-san beelines it straight up through all the floors, while Gaine has to travel the full length of the dungeon in reverse, the difference in how long it takes them to exit would be more than enough time for dragon to coincidently happen across MC, Who is already in the area anyway.
