I went to a boarding school where nuts aren’t even allowed in the school as people with nut allergies tend to have them pretty severe, and just smelling it would be enough to cause harm, so eating them is really bad, do not do this if you have a nut allergy
I don’t approve of this. Any disease or virus will take at least several hours to kill you. Serious allergies take only 15 or so minutes. She is really playing with fire

Something that irks me about these kinds of stories is that the protagonist says they have some master plan and it just turns out to be self harm via ingested toxins
