Seems like telling the story of how Christianity subdued northern and other religion and myths. I mean the avatar of wings is clearly inspired by Christian angels.. but everything else seems to be either Germanic/Scandinavian and Asian myths and religious figures.

okay so the bear with antlers we saw in the beginning is otso a finnish spirit. the bird thing might be an hokhoku although i am not too sure about that. and i am really confused why someone who has the power of an wendigo can use the power of yggdrasil one is north american the other is nordic and ig i was wrong about the lotus tree being yggdrasil and i now think it might be the the tree from the lotus-eaters from the greek mythology
