The awakening thing was AWESOME until it became normalized.

This reminds me of Tensei Shitara Slime LN when Rimuru names the primordial demoness trio and their subordinates and several of them evolve into Demon Peers.

Demon Peers, which are way way way above Archdemons and are like the peak existence for Demon-kind, even more Royal than the Demon-Lord Race etc

And Rimuru says,

erbatim “… they’re legendary beings. Although now that our country, Tempest, has more than 6 of them, it sort of takes away from that legendary feeling.”

^^^^^ that’s exactly how I feel about this awakening gambit. It was awesome with Ocean Blue and MC….and even the op enemies

but 300 random cannon fodder are now enlightened to the degree MC got to by… BESTING THE TOWER ALL BY HIMSELF AND FIGHTING THE CULTUVATOR TO DEATH?

Yet now all these random dead plebs have reached that level of awakening and still can’t even touch this enemy?

While I get he’s strong. Making our MCs squad 300 awakened and weak as f just RUINED the entire mystery and awe behind the awakening abilities.

Now they’re just another useless thing unless it’s MC or whoever MC trusts the most.

Idk I didn’t like all that 300 shit
