chant weaving saves him time on learning magic
unbound growth speaks for itself
unarmed combat is useful if he loses his weapon or is in a situation where he cannot have a weapon
i just wish they had given us info on his D rank skill
i understand how most of his skill choices link, but why unarmed combat? is it supposed to improve total body motor control/accuracy?

magic, all 4 elements +light/dark = slow growth fixed by S and B rank skills.
