So I was rewatching the anime after many years and episode 6 “Residence of girls” was absolutely heartbreaking. It was honestly really hard to watch. It was very graphic and the worst part was how hopeless they were. It broke my heart how you slowly saw how the first girl lost her will to live because she was the only that kept being chosen at the beginning (Since she was the oldest and had a more developed body). Then the hopelessness really kicked in when the girls complained that they were only bullying one girl (not realizing what was really happening since they were all children) the guy said “don’t get the wrong idea, you are all products!” and then it showed a montage of all of them getting r@ped (well it only showed them being washed naked to be pimped out, but they were all being r@ped) Anyways my heart was racing the entire episode and I had an urge to k!ll or at least punch something to get my rage out. The most unbelievable thing was how Maya was the only one who hadn’t been sold yet, even after 2 years because she hadn’t “developed” enough or something. But I call BS (for the show), since there were at least 2 or 3 of the girls who were clearly much younger than her and they still were pimped and r@ped. It doesn’t say her age in the show as far as I remember, but she looked basically the same age as the other girl, who I’m pretty sure is the same age or slightly younger (by a max of 2 years) than the MC. Anyway, I am glad that she was rescued before she lost something she would never recover physically….. and mentally. But it feels too convenient and makes me realize that for children and people, this happens to…. there is no knight in shining armor… and just makes me extremely frustrated
