I like where this is going. I am waiting for the plot twist where he is offered a good paying job in hell, where people respect him and treat him well, and he has a good work life balance. He even starts going to mixers and having honest friendly meetings with women over coffee.
He takes the offer, and things work out very well for him, meanwhile the powers on the surface world realize how much work he has done and the contributions he has made, and thus stage an invasion of hell to “rescue him” so that they can put him to work some more.
