Span only applies that you can’t challenge dungeons too often. Of course to level up as fast as you can, you would challenge the best dungeon you can, however with raising/bussing a noob, you would go with much lower dungeon levels.

Why exactly shouldn’t she part of the party?

The party leaders goal is to collect people with unique skills and growth potential.

She happens to be late to the part (pun intended) but her potential is excellent. And now they concentrate on bussing her to a similar level. Likely taking turns.

They technically don’t need all to show up, though. But if they don’t, it might give a bad public image. (Party not united, lazy members, and similar)

They reached 2k in a year. Doesn’t mean they’re still at 2k.
But there might still be a bottleneck. It was stated that there’s a steep raise in difficulty between D and C dungeons. Why wouldn’t there be an even steeper between C and B, and between B and A?

MC was on a cooldown, because everybody gets one after challenging a dungeon. Duh! His ability only lets him travel to places he has been before. He never has been past the gate of that C dungeon before.
