someone commented last chapter that the point of the story is that they cannot grow, cause they’re reliant on there talents, but the actual point of the story is that despite their talents they still have the potential to grow, and all it takes is hard work. this chapter we see that everyone’s hard work is the reason they survive this otherwise devastating event. However since this manga is about to end, they had to force everything, they abruptly became hardworking, rather than having their characters develop, and the history of the world was abruptly revealed rather than being reveled over a few (hundred) chapters. i just wish we had more time with the characters and with the story 🙁
