My guess is that since he can heal himself, he’ll be able to either train longer or harder than a normal person would, maybe even both. Given how ripped Rose is, I can’t imagine how bad our scrawny little protagonist is going to be hurting given everyone’s reactions to the explanation of her methods if this is the case. The basis of increasing strength is the ripping and reforming of muscle fiber to resist said damage after all.
Seems to me that author saw redo of healer and decided to give justice to support bros.

Always feel strange how instead of just asking “What happened? (listens to explanation). Ahh, got it, moving on.” they always go “What happened? (proceeds to explain what happened). Everything alright?”. This always struck me as bizzare, but good plot device, I guess.
It’s strange to me how the writers of these “in another world” comics feel healing magic is for losers. It’d be one thing if they felt it was unnatural, like some sort of uncanny necromancy, so they’d want to stamp out this heresy, but this isn’t even that.
Unlike MMORPGs the genre mimics, these people only have one life and they should be looking for more ways to keep it. To me, looking down on healers in a fantasy setting is like looking down on doctors in a zombie setting.
