What kind of king doesn’t send tutors for his daughter. If they can send a butler, they could easily have sent teachers and educated her in courtly etiquette, manners, and conversation. This idea that she would have to educate herself only with books is more like Rapunzel stuck in a tower, but anyone can visit this princess. So this it totally the king’s fault.
