Good to see this uploaded again, still relatively fresh off the series binge so I remember most of the plot and characters. Have a feeling there’s going to be more than a bit of friction when it comes to Amako’s intent for both her and her mother to leave Hinomoto given their strategic value, but I imagine there’ll probably be some plot-derived reason for the beastkin to trust them by the end of the arc. That being said, back to waiting for more I suppose, pleasure reading alongside y’all again briefly.
Also, I’d love to know where are the “please don’t eat me”s are coming from. Do the think humans eat demihumans? If so where did that come from, surely not from the hero? I know MC can look scary, but he typically doesn’t stop looking human
The “I trust you”s between MC and fox girl sound a LOT like “I love you”s.
That’s pretty awful. I’m not sure why the author would make them that zenophobic unless they were trying to make them like ancient Japanese.
