ah yes, clearly, nobody carries anything related to self-defense for any reason besides “yes, I know I’m going to be attacked in the very near future”

This is bullcrap…MC was a victim and because he knew he could be attacked he is in trouble for defending himself?? Granted, they could probably have something on him for unintentional negligent manslaughter or something (if that’s a thing), but the prosecution (the 2 dirt bags) are pretending their buddy didn’t die and wasn’t even there.
