This reminds me of the story of Jerusalem or Dido of Carthage, what foolishness is to stay in a land that is difficult to survive in? If you have faith and the will you can survive all hardships fate throws.

Okay…so we know they are playing in the same world, since they are both being equally vague in their descriptions of the games they are playing. No one is that vague when talking to a fellow gamer. They would be speaking about all sorts of proper nouns or details about the systems.
And they both had a huge event on the same day. But are they enemies or allies?
I cannot really tell but I am thinking they might be allies, since the Elf “base” was lost and his co-worker lost one of his bases.
