It’s kinda funny because this chapter proves that he simply wants to exercise agency in his life (in the worst way possible). It proves what Claude said that him and Calix are the same. They’re both people tied down by a purpose forced onto them and were inevitably going to rebel one way or another. If Claude’s way is being a scumbag towards women, then Calix’s way is by being a murderer 😭 It’s also incrediblyyyy worrying for Heesoo because that means there’s a chance he’ll force her to stay against her will if it meant exercising that agency. Oh, well. Just because the genre is romance doesn’t mean it has to be healthy.
