And that’s exactly why before exposing yourself it’s better to use Detection one last time, to be sure no new enemies have appeared.
That said, why did they ignore the Fortune Teller? Was she even real, or just a lucky scammer that tried her luck on potential easy money?

Honestly the reason for handing off reversi was kind of weak too. The author is not a master storyteller lol
