i think that to many mangas make MC out to be a super nice kind person when they get attacked over and over again
now my other point is if the WHOEL or 2/3’s of the guild were to say no and just leave the leader would have to cave into the guild they cant lose tht many people that protect the city

Pretty sure the MC wouldn’t stay after being tortured.
But these stories always end up with the MC being gracious and understanding when any real human would be filled with inconsolable rage.
Also all the torture won’t leave any scars.

This viscount is about to get a royal execution for over stepping his boundry.
That Viscount truly deserves the Death Penalty. Actually… I’ve recently seen a torture method in a different story where one criminal had to be “Executed 100 times”.
In short the criminal was tied up with his legs spread apart at a height of several meters, with a log placed right below him. He was made to drop to the log, which would crush his balls. Then a healer would heal them. The process was repeated dozens of times, until healing magic was no longer effective on them.
Let this Viscount suffer the same execution 
ah yes lets accuse and beat up the guy whos friends with the higher ups.
