“the numbers game” has been introduced into manga because people got tired of “screaming and being really angry makes power go UP” and it’s more comfortable to digest for the reader. If the author decided to go back to “scream is power” I’ll be dropping this. The 2000s had plenty of this powerscaling and it evolved for a reason… Here’s to hope this evolved, too
