Nice.
But also: Talking is a free action.

This is so satisfyingly epic!
I love that this spans the whole range of daily-life minutiae, cooking and laundry and crafting failures and ingredient gathering and all, and then gives us moments like this. High-stakes, battle-for-the-kingdom, everything-on-the-line.
It means I never get numb to the grandeur of the larger scale because we also get to see the small scale days of levelling up secondary skills with friends, and moments of taking off the helmet to return to daily life.
Unlike the action-packed stories where it just gets bigger and flashier and more special effects in non-stop battles until it becomes meaningless.
This feels powerful.
